The utility cadastre is a special technical record in which data on all underground and above-ground utility installations are collected, stored, updated and shared. This record serves for spatial planning, construction and secure management of infrastructure. This includes: water supply and sewage networks, electricity and telecommunications lines, heating, steam, gas, oil and drainage networks. The electricity network connects power plants, transmission lines (power lines), substations and distribution networks that bring electricity to end users (households, industry, public institutions, etc.). In the Sarajevo Canton, the electricity network is managed by JP Elektroprivreda Bosne i Hercegovine dd, or its organizational part, the "Elektrodistribucija" branch office in Sarajevo. The utility cadastre in the Sarajevo Canton, including its establishment, maintenance, processing of studies and issuing of data, is managed by the Sarajevo Canton Construction Institute.
