Metadata Details: Study on the valorization and rehabilitation of illegally constructed buildings

Illegal individual housing construction has become a serious nuisance and threat to the city, its residents, its organized urban life, its spaces, urban amenities, infrastructure systems and all other values. In order to find the right solutions to curb illegal construction and the need to develop the Spatial Plan of the Sarajevo Canton for the period from 2003 to 2023, a Study of the Valorization and Rehabilitation of Illegally Built Buildings was prepared. In addition to using all available data available to the authorities of the Canton, the City, municipalities and public enterprises, the Study also conducted additional research in the area of all municipalities and surveyed a large number of local communities in order to enrich previously existing knowledge with credible and fresh indicators in order to formulate more adequate proposals on ways to resolve this issue.
