The project "Monitoring the biodiversity of non-forest phytocenoses in the area of the Vrelo Bosne Natural Monument and the biodiversity of forest ecosystems in the area of the Skakavac Natural Monument" represents the basis for establishing monitoring in protected areas, taking into account the latest findings in the field of environmental conservation, applicable legal regulations of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as international strategic agreements and conventions. The research, which lasted a year, achieved significant results in assessing and defining the baseline. Taking into account all legal components and research results, a monitoring model with all associated elements was presented.
