Work on the revision of the survey and the second edition of the 1:25000 topographic map began in 1967. The mathematical elements of the map remained unchanged compared to the solutions adopted for the first edition topographic map, except for the change in the format and nomenclature of the sheets. The arc dimension of the map sheet is 7'30'' in longitude and 7'30'' in latitude, which means that the effective area of each sheet is about 140 km2 of land. 426 sheets of the 1:25000 topographic map were produced for the area of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The map was produced in four-color and two-color versions with all content elements. For special needs, a two-color map was printed - hydrography and relief (isohypses).
