The Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property-Legal Affairs (FGU) recognized, with the support of the CILAP project, and through financing activities from the budget funds of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and joint financing with administrative organizations at the cantonal and local levels, launched an initiative to establish, maintain and distribute data on addresses in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The main goal is to organize the entire territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the domain of address data, to create databases in all local self-government units, to create a central database, to establish services for interoperable communication, and to prepare data for the direct marking of settlements, streets and squares with names, buildings with numbers, and the creation of a register of the marking.
