The area of 5.98 ha covered by the border of the Plan is located on the slopes of the Karašnica hill, within the range of altitudes from 507.50 to 556 masl, east of the central part of Ilijaš municipality. The area covered by the border of the Plan is, due to its position, the configuration of the terrain and the spontaneously built individual housing facilities, which, with their position and access roads, have damaged the appearance of the natural slope on which the focus of the view from a large part of the municipality of Ilijaš - which was guided by the planning of the Srebrenica Flower monument on the Karašnica hill - is a very complex space for planning the planned contents. Spatial organization is based on the position of the subject area in relation to the central part of Ilijaš municipality through two segments: - views that are provided towards the area covered by the border of the Plan, - views that are provided from the area covered by the border of the Plan. The area included within the Plan boundary represents a public green area of the park category, which will also include, conditionally speaking, an arboretum, which, in addition to its educational and aesthetic-decorative character, will also have a memorial character. In terms of form, the park consists of the following four areas, interconnected into one functional unit: the entrance point, the memorial part of the park, the arboretum and landscaped areas.
