The area of 84 ha, included within the Plan's border, administratively encompasses the territory of the Novi Grad Sarajevo municipality, occupying the southeastern slopes of the Žuč hill, above the right bank of the stream of the same name. In the south, the Plan's border is formed by the city highway, on the north side by the spatial unit of the RP "Buća Potok I", on the west side it borders the RP "Buća Potok I" and on the east with the RP Park šuma-Hum and partly with the "Zrak" factory complex. The altitudes within the Plan's scope range from 520 - 530 m above sea level at the bottom of the Buća potok valley, to 675 m above sea level in the extreme northwestern part of the terrain above Braće Bajčetić Street. The aim of the Plan was to review the spatial organization that was adopted and defined by the Regulatory Plan of the priority urban unit "Buća Potok II" ("Official Gazette of the City of Sarajevo" No. 13/81) and the Urban Design of the Residential Ensemble "Bosna - Buća Potok II" ("Official Gazette of the City of Sarajevo" No. 14/90). The basic assumptions of the spatial organization concept are based on the following: - rehabilitation of unstable terrain, arrangement of green areas and planting of appropriate trees for landslide stabilization - construction of collective housing facilities and social infrastructure facilities in the function of activating an attractive space in the Buća Potok II settlement - new plots for individual housing construction were formed in the northwestern part of the area, and interpolation of new facilities into the existing structure of the settlement was also planned, where spatial possibilities allowed. - construction of a collective housing facility was planned in the southeastern part of the area, as well as replacement facilities for devastated and dilapidated facilities. - With the VI Transferzala, the possibility of developing an Urban Planning Project has been given, with the aim of building collective housing facilities and social infrastructure facilities, and achieving a unique Urban Planning solution. - forming a traffic network that will, with maximum use of existing traffic areas, with their reconstruction, and by designing new necessary roads, enable better intra-settlement connectivity, and solving traffic at rest. Throughout the entire scope of the Plan, between the existing individual residential buildings, it is planned to form orchards by the owners of the plots, both in the function of protecting unstable terrain, and for the purpose of functionally connecting individual housing plots, i.e. a more pleasant and beautiful appearance of the settlement.
