The project was implemented through several activities and phases with the aim of analyzing the state of natural values, and defining clear rehabilitation and revitalization measures in accordance with the current state. During the project, in addition to the results of field research, scientific knowledge about the composition of various plant and animal communities and habitats was also used (from 2020). The achieved results contribute to the long-term goal of contributing to the preservation of the site through the development of ecological awareness, awareness of the importance of natural and cultural heritage, and raising the level of responsibility of each individual in the processes of preserving the subject area and the wider environment. It is particularly important to emphasize here that for the Vrutci site, the increasingly frequent occurrence of the development of tertiary ecosystems.
