Metadata Details: Regulatory plan "Kanara"

The area of 16.20 ha, included in the Plan boundary, is located on the northern slopes of Mojmilo Hill and belongs to the administrative territory of the Novo Sarajevo Municipality and a smaller part of the Novi Grad Sarajevo Municipality. The Plan boundary is touched to the east by the boundary of the Regulatory Plan "Hrasno Brdo", to the north by Novopazarska Street, or the boundary of the Regulatory Plan "Švrakino selo - Mlakve", to the west by the boundary of the Regulatory Plan "Park - Mojmilo Forest" and to the south by the border of the Sarajevo Canton. This is a built spatial entity of Mlakve and the Plan is of a rehabilitation character. Minimal areas have been allocated for new construction. In areas registered as landslides on which facilities have been built, it is necessary to carry out detailed engineering - geological and geomechanical field surveys in order to obtain data and conditions for the preparation of rehabilitation projects. The rehabilitation of these landslides should be carried out as soon as possible in order to secure the existing facilities. Green areas in this area are designed to serve the function of spatial organization. Protective greenery is planned for areas that have been identified as unstable terrain, which includes planting appropriate planting material that will contribute to terrain stabilization and prevent further erosion and denudation of the slope. Spatial opportunities for locating social infrastructure facilities have been reduced to a minimum, because free, undeveloped areas are very unfavorable in terms of terrain configuration and accessibility. Given the number of residents in this area, certain social infrastructure facilities to meet the daily needs of the population are planned to be provided within the ground floors of planned and existing facilities (shops, catering, crafts, etc.). Based on the Guidelines for the Development of the Plan, one religious facility is planned.
