Metadata Details: Strategic plan of KJKP "RAD" doo Sarajevo for waste management in the Sarajevo Canton 2023-2030.

The Strategic Plan was prepared within the framework of the Project "Effective Waste Management in Sarajevo Canton", which was funded by the Czech Development Agency and implemented in the period 2021–2023. The preparation of the document represents one of the key activities envisaged by the project, with the aim of improving the planning system and organization of waste management within KJKP "RAD" doo Sarajevo. The purpose of the document is to clearly and systematically define the methodology for planning waste management activities in the territory of Sarajevo Canton, as well as to precisely determine the competencies, responsibilities and obligations of all relevant sectors and institutions that will be involved in the implementation of the Plan. In this way, compliance with the applicable legal and strategic frameworks is ensured, efficiency in the implementation of measures is increased, and the capacity of Sarajevo Canton for long-term sustainable waste management is strengthened. Special attention in the document is devoted to establishing clear mechanisms of cooperation between competent authorities, public enterprises and other stakeholders, in order to ensure coordinated implementation of planned activities and achieve goals in terms of environmental protection, improving the quality of life of the population and rational use of resources.
