Metadata Details: Regulatory plan "Hrasnica Economic Zone"

The area of 36 ha included in the Plan's boundary occupies the pre-war military-industrial complex "Famos-Lasica", located in the far southern part of the city of Sarajevo, below the slopes of Igman, between the settlements of Hrasnica and Grlica. The spatial organization is based on the needs of creating conditions for the smooth functioning of privatized facilities and harmonizing their purposes with the conditions given in the proposals for protection measures and use of space, taking into account the fact that the area is located in the third water protection zone, for the purpose of whose protection a Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment (SEA) was prepared, which determines the vulnerability of the area, protection measures, purposes and conditions under which various activities can be located here. The planning process is based on the principles of sustainable development, and only those activities that do not endanger the environment can be carried out in this area, and according to the list of activities given in the separate SEA, which is an integral part of the Plan, the planned construction plots are given in a way that allows for new construction and extensions, reconstruction and increase in size up to a maximum of a given construction line.
