Administrative division at the level of local self-government units. The published information presents the updated map of the administrative-territorial boundaries of local self-government units approved by the Council of Ministers No. 360 dated 29.05.2019, based on Law No. 115/2014 "On the administrative-territorial division of local government units in the Republic of Albania". The data are in accordance with the standard approved by the Council of Ministers No. 1078, dated 23.12.2015, On the approval of the document "State Standards for Technical Specifications of Geospatial Information in Albania, Topic - Administrative Unit Boundaries". The last update was carried out based on letter no. 5126/3, dated 21.10.2020, with the subject “On the publication of the updated coordinates of the local self-government unit Kamëz Municipality”, of the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, and the map made available by the public authority responsible for the topic “Borders of administrative units”, the Agency for the Support of Local Self-Government, with letter no. 365/1 dated 29.10.2020.

This version of the administrative-territorial border was obtained from field control and consultation with cartographic materials that are collected, processed and used by public authorities and that are: 1. Existing version of territorial borders 2. Map of Cadastral Zones 3. Digital map of immovable property for 2638 cadastral zones 4. Digital Terrain Model 5. Map of forest economies of scale 25000 and 1: 200000 6. Maps of Local General Plans that are archived in the AKPT or LGUs Cartographic materials were consulted with local self-government units and their constituent administrative units.
