The mapping of health institution facilities was carried out by digitizing information collected from official sources, as well as from lists of health institutions made available by the respective NJVKSH through excel sheets containing the coordinates of the points or the link showing the position of the health institutions on the Google Maps platform, as well as from information obtained from the Base Map. NJVKSH that have provided information are: NJVKSH Lushnje, NJVKSH Vlorë, NJVKSH Mirditë, NJVKSH Durrës, NJVKSH Fier, NJVKSH Kukës, NJVKSH Pogradec, NJVKSH Klos, NJVKSH Librazhd, NJVKSH Kuçovë, NJVKSH Gjirokastër, NJVKSH Delvinë, NJVKSH Korçë. For those health institutions that did not have locations with exact coordinates, mapping was carried out in the center of the village and are identified in the "Notes" field. Private health institutions (hospitals) are also included in the database and are identified in the "Notes" field. The data are in accordance with the standard with the Council of Ministers No. 998, dated 09.12.2020, On the approval of the document "State Standards for Technical Specifications of Geospatial Information in Albania - Topic: Urban infrastructure and government services".
