The orthophoto of the Year 1999 covers an area of approximately 5989 km2. This orthophoto was produced in GEOTIFF format and in the Geodetic Reference System (KRGJSH), based on the provisions of the Decision of the Council of Ministers no. 669, dated 07/08/2013, as amended. The orthophoto product is in panchromatic format (black and white) for the area covered by the scanned images of the aerial photography of the Year 1999, taken in 1999, and has an average photography scale of 1:15000, following the procedure of scanning aerial photographs. In the scanning process, semi-professional scanners were used to scan copies of this photograph, printed on paper with an average scale of 1:15000. The geospatial information obtained from this orthophoto will help improve the cadastral data of properties, which are essential for investments in the country's economic development and the legal security of property, as well as in the implementation of Decision No. 442, dated 18.7.2018, of the Council of Ministers "On determining the procedure for the transfer of ownership and registration of immovable properties, built until 10.8.1991 and their functional land".
