This layer is in line with the EU Floods Directive, which presents a risk map for the area as well as for the specific return time period. The activities and modeling were carried out in collaboration with the Water Resources Management Agency (AMBU), the Institute of Geosciences (IGJEO), the Basin Councils, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the State Authority for Geospatial Information (ASIG). The processing level includes the following steps: - Definition of hydrological discharge statistics using the database provided by IGJEO; - Topographical survey in the field including digital reconstruction of bridges; - Processing and correction of the Digital Terrain Model (DTM) using the collected topographic data and the 2 m DTM building form provided by ASIG; - Implementation and application of the hydraulic model for different return time periods (Telemac2D); - Analysis and validation of results through special meetings with the Basin Councils; - Generation of classified risk products. The measurement unit is for each pixel for depth and velocity.
