The CIR 2024 Satellite Orthophoto covers the territory of the Republic of Albania from satellite images collected during the period from April 30, 2024 to December 29, 2024. It was obtained through the “Satellite Service” project funded by the Albanian Government and aims to monitor the Albanian territory with advanced technology. ASIG produced the CIR 2024 Satellite Orthophoto based on the Council of Ministers' Decision No. 863, dated 27.12.2022 “On some additions and amendments” to the Council of Ministers' Decision No. 147, dated 20.2.2013, “On the Approval of the Regulation “On the Organization and Functioning of the State Authority for Geospatial Information””.
