Based on the Council of Ministers No. 832, dated 24.12.2021, the Declaration of the "Historical Center" of the village of Bënjë as a cultural asset, the definition of its Protection Zone and the approval of the plan for their preservation, protection and administration. The protection zone around the "historical center" protects and complements the values of the cultural, historical, urban, architectural and landscape heritage. The protection zone extends around the "historical center" and creates a direct passage to the rest of the village. In the southeastern part it extends including part of the entrance road to the village, which, given the configuration of the terrain, serves to better protect the architectural and cultural landscape of the historical center of the village of Bënjë.
