Digital terrain model (DMT) is represented by height points determined at the positions of a predetermined grid and structure lines that characterize the height structure of the surface of interest in which there are changes in the configuration of this surface.DMT grid 25 m was made on the basis of data from aerial photogrammetric acquisition of resolution 40 cm from the epoch 2007-2010, and based on aerial photogrammetric acquisition of resolution 40 cm from the epoch 2011-2013 was updated. For mountainous areas overgrown with dense forest, DTМ is represented by grid elevation points of 7 m and breaking lines. The issuance of digital terrain model is regulated by Law on Republic Administrative Taxes which regulates the amount of the fee for services provided by the Republic Geodetic Authority.
DMT of grid 25 m is made for the territory of the Republic of Serbia on the basis of aerial photogrammetric acquisition of resolution 40 cm from the epoch 2007-2010 except for the area of AP Kosovo and Metohija, for the part of the Republic of Serbia where survey is not in official coordinate system and for the city of Belgrade. DMT of grid 25 m is updated based on aerial photogrammetric data from the epoch 2011-2013.RMSE for height is 1.6 m and is calculated as the difference between the values of the heights of the control points measured on the DTM and their values determined by independent measurement of higher accuracy in the field.Validity of the data set has been confirmed and is in accordance with the Rulebook on topographic survey and topographic-cartographic products.
