BASIC INFORMATION

Core identification information for the metadata record
Monitoring of tap water quality
Serbia (srb)

The indicator monitors the share of drinking water samples that do not meet the prescribed values of drinking water parameters in the total number of drinking water samples obtained from public water supply systems. The indicator provides information on the risks of negative impacts of drinking water on human health and shows to what extent the supply of drinking water is in accordance with sanitary and hygienic conditions and standards. Qualitative indicators of health impact from environmental sources are determined as the risk of exposure to microbiological agents and physico-chemical agents, so that they never exceed the maximum allowed concentrations.
It is determined:
1. The average value of the percentage of physico-chemical defects and the level of risk for the period 2012-2021. year
2. The average value of the percentage of microbiological defects and the level of risk for the period 2012-2021. year
3. The value of the percentage of physico-chemical defects and the level of risk for the year 2021
4. The value of the percentage of microbiological defects and the level of risk for the year 2021
