Digital terrain model (DMT) is represented by height points determined at the positions of a predetermined grid that characterize the height structure of the surface of interest.DMT of 1 m grid available in Republic Geodetic Authority is made on the basis LiDAR scanning data from the epoch 2012.Technology of creating a digital terrain model is an efficient way to get the given entities of the area position and height in the appropriate spatial coordinate system with the projected accuracy. The issuance of a digital terrain model is regulated by the Law on Republic Administrative Fees, which regulates the amount of the fee for services provided by the Republic Geodetic Authority.
Based on LiDAR scanning data from the epoch 2012, high precision digital terrain model (DTM) is made for the Tisza River floodplain. Realization of works is performed within the IGIS Project.Laser scanning from the air was performed with a Leica ALS70 device. Density of collected points in nadir during the realization of laser scanning is 2.3 points / m2. Parameters for georeferencing of high-accuracy DTM for Tizsa river flood area are determined by the parameters of the reference system in the projection plane for Serbia (SRB_ETRS89 / UTM), and the heights are expressed relative to the official quasigeoid of Serbia as the vertical reference surface.Absolute height accuracy of DTM is in accordance with the technical specification of the project and is 7 cm on the open field and stable material and with slope of not more than 20%Validity of the data set has been confirmed and is in accordance with the Rulebook on topographic survey and topographic-cartographic products.
