The bearer of exploration of mineral and other geological resources can submit a request for retention of the right to exploration space in order to prepare documentation for approval for exploitation, i.e. approval for exploitation field and exploitation space, no later than 30 days before the expiration of the exploration period determined by the decision approving the exploration. A request for approval to retain the right to an exploration area can be submitted by a business company, that is, another legal entity and an entrepreneur in accordance with Article 40 of the Law on Mining and Geological Research.
