This network was built during 2018 as part of the partial construction of networks as part of the Albanian Geodetic Reference Framework (KRGJSH), with European and combined standards. From September 30 to October 6, 2018, under the coordination of ASIG, an Albanian team in cooperation with the Pedeli Observatory in Greece, completed geomagnetic measurements throughout the Albanian national territory. The Albanian Magnetic Network (RRMSH) designed and tested in 1994 was used to carry out the measurements, which also marked the first measurements of the geomagnetic field in a regular network consisting of 11 stations covering the territory of Albania. During the measurement procedures, the average error of the observed components of the geomagnetic field should not exceed the values: 0.005° for Declination and Inclination; 1.5 nT for ΔH; 1.0 nT for ΔZ and 0.5 nT for ΔF. The measurements taken were Declination - D - and Inclination - I - by means of a Fluxgate Magnetometer D / I and Total Magnetic Field Intensity F by means of a precision Proton Magnetometer instrument.
